Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to address defense personnel in the Pokrovsk area on the weekday. He stated that he engaged with fighters at the military base of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Conditions in Pokrovsk

Updated analysis from a local initiative showed that opposition armies had pushed further into Pokrovsk and its environs, though much of it remained beyond firm control by both forces. The status is precarious, with updates indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and building up positions in some districts.

Invading troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within the city proper.

Military experts commented that national troops had liberated a significant portion of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk effort.

National Long-Range Assaults Within Russia

National unmanned aircraft attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russia at the location. Local officials reported an explosion at the Sterlitamak facility that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the cause of the explosion was not known. The armed forces leadership stated there was extensive harm to the plant.
